Good evening Orcas!

Welcome to the 2024 season! We apologize for the delay in our initial communication as we have been diligently working on our scheduling around a few things including pool inspection and coaches' schedules.  

We will kick off our season with "Meet the Coaches," an informal gathering and information session for the swimmers and for the new swimmers to get their questions answered on Wednesday, 5/15 from 6:30-7:30.  Due to time constraints and water temperature, we do not plan on getting in the water on Wednesday.  

Our first practice is scheduled for Thursday 5/16 - if pool temperature allows.  Schedule for the first couple of weeks until the pool officially opens on Memorial Day weekend is listed on the website under Practice Schedule, and are as follows (M-F):

• 6 and Under: 5:00 - 5:30 PM
• 7-8 and 9-10: 5:30 - 6:15 PM
• 11-18: 6:15 - 7:30 PM

Following pool opening on Memorial Day weekend, we will continue evening only practices until school is officially out - since we will only have limited lanes to practice we will plan for a modified schedule during this time.  A sample schedule from 2023 season is also available on the website - details and 2024 schedule to follow.  

Swimmers may wear any suits and caps for practices.  Your swimmer will be provided with an Orcas cap to be worn at all meets, and may wear a solid black, or a team suit listed HERE for all meets.  

Please spend some time exploring the team website - most commonly asked questions and team events, as well as meet signups are updated as information becomes available.  

Lastly - we will be sending out alerts and last minute changes via Swimtopia App - the link on the website should take you to the App Store directly.
