Good afternoon Orcas! 

We are so excited that the pool has passed the inspection and we are finally able to get in the pool! Please pay careful attention to practice dates and times as they will be changing over the next few weeks as pool opens up to to the members after Memorial Day weekend. A quick reminder that the Kiddie Pool is not open during the swim practices (except for evening practices later once pool opens to the members). There will also be some coating/painting on the pool deck - please use caution and stay away from those areas during the practices.

A couple of reminders: 

• Mock Meet 5/25 (Thu) - this will be a very short, one or two races per person meet, for swimmers to be able to go through the warm up routine and give timers and officials a chance to get used to the equipments and the meet management programs once again. Please sign your swimmers up under the Sign Up Calender page (requires login - under Meet and Events tab) as we will not be able to add all the swimmers into the meet once the meet file is created prior to the meet (this generally occurs 3-4 days prior to the meet - for this one we will do by Wed afternoon). 
• Volunteer slots for all meets are open now for you to sign up/plan! Reminder each family is required to sign up for at least 3 sessions. Of course, more is welcomed!  Volunteer duties are listed and explained in the Swim Meet 101 page.
• Memorial Day Weekend Fundraiser - the swim team will host the concessions on 5/27 and 5/28. Please sign up to help HERE - as this is one of the only fundraising events outside of concession stand sales at our home meets.
